Sampson David started his journalism career in 2008 at Radio Peace in
Margibi County as an intern. In 2011, he moved to Radio Diahn-Blae in
Grand Bassa County, where he currently serves as Deputy Station
In 2012, he was recruited as Correspondent for the Liberia Broadcasting
System, a position he still occupies. He also worked briefly for Punch
Newspaper and the Liberia News Agency.
David also currently works for The Bush Chicken and covers Grand Bassa
In 2019, the Press Union of Liberia awarded David as the 2018 County and
Social Development Reporter of the year and 2019 Humanitarian Reporter
of the year.
His journalism focuses on amplifying the voices of the “unheard in society
and bridge the gap for policymakers to meet their demands”.
David is a sophomore student at Starz College of Science and Technology
in Monrovia, where he’s studying Management Information Systems.
