A viral social media message claiming that you can earn L$40,000 in shopping subsidy from Harbel Supermarket by sending messages to 20 persons is a scam. The Supermarket is not celebrating its 25th Anniversary and not giving away shopping subsidy.
Local Voices Liberia iVerify team has fact-checked this claim and found out it is a scam.
To arrive at this, we reviewed Harbel Supermarket’s Facebook page where the Supermarket clarified that it did not send out such a message and has no involvement in the claim circulating through social media messaging apps like WhatsApp and Messenger.
