Written By: Foday Sesay, Bomi County

Tubmanburg, Bomi County – Since the return of Ebola survivors from various Treatment Units (ETU) across Liberia many of them have complained about various health complications.

Speaking to Local Voices Liberia, madam Kadiatu Barrie said since she returned from the ETU, she’s experiencing serious bone pains. She said though she survived the Ebola Virus, there’s need that she undergoes further medical treatment.

Kadiatu, who encountered the virus through her late husband, also said her little son is also complaining about wrist pain, something, she said does not allow her son to sleep sometimes at night. Her son also survived the deadly virus.

The EVD survivor also told Local Voices Liberia that she had reported the case to the hospital and had been undergoing medical treatments, but there is no improvement.

She added that the current medical treatments at time caused the pains to subside, but she is calling on humanitarian organizations to come to her aid.
