The government of Liberia through the Ministry of Education has dedicated and turned over the newly constructed Gohn Zoduah Public School in Garwula District, Grand Cape Mounty. Speaking at the dedicatory ceremony in Gohn Town, education minister Etmonia David Tarpeh thanked the people of Gohn for working along with the Ministry of Education to have the school project completed. She also expressed her disappointment about the absence of the local authorities of Cape Mount for not attending the program.
Minister Tarpeh mentioned that there action will not stop the government from working in the interest of the people of Cape Mount. she urged the people of Gohn Zodua to work closely with the school administration to maintain the school in order to create a safe learning environment for the children.
Also speaking at the program, the deputy minister for research at the Ministry of Education Anthony Nimanly said the Gohn Zodua School is part of the grant received from Global Partner to build 20 schools in the Liberia.
